# Getting Started

> Set up Host Ledger and post your first payout in minutes

## Onboarding

When you sign up, Host Ledger walks you through a guided onboarding flow:

1. **Connect Hospitable** — imports your properties and reservation data
2. **Connect QuickBooks Online** — syncs your accounts, classes, and vendors
3. **Configure mappings** — tells Host Ledger how to categorize and post your payouts

Takes a few minutes. After that, you're ready to process payouts.

## Your first payout

1. Go to the **Home** page and upload a payout CSV from Airbnb, VRBO, or Booking.com
2. Review the categorized line items
3. Click **Post** to send to QuickBooks
4. In QuickBooks, click **Match** to complete the reconciliation

That's it.
